The Capafons-Osso 2002 Mas De Masos Priorat is a high quality wine produced in the 60-year-old, low producing vineyard of the same name. The grape varieties grown in this vineyard are Garnacha, Cariñena and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine possesses a dark cherry color with an aroma of ripe berries, mountain herbs and minerals. At first taste, the wine is lively and viscous with round, fine tannins that finish in perfect balance. With each passing minute, the wine continues to evolve in the glass, producing notes of concentrated dark fruits, dark chocolate and soft minerals.
