As the vineyards lie at different altitudes and geographical locations, the grape varieties from each location are monitored closely to ensure the best grapes are selected at harvest.

The 2003 vintage of Cims de Porrera Solanes is a distinctive blend of the five red grape varieties grown in the D.O.Q. Priorat: 50% old-vine Cariñena, 30% Garnacha, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, and 5% Syrah.
